Today sees my first blog on my brand new website! It has taken so long for me to finally have my website updated and I am quite happy with the results. Many thanks to the web designer Simon Oliver for doing a great job
I will now have to discipline myself, get organised and update it regularly. I have many more fabulous images still to post, so please bear with me while I figure out how to reconfigure the images I have, in order to upload them.
Last Tuesday saw the transmission of the first programme of its kind in the UK. Made by Wedding TV, it's called The Great Cake Bake. It's a show where the best cake designers in the UK are brought together to compete to design a fabulous cake for a bride to be, having being given a specific brief.
The first episode was shown last Tuesday 11th May 2010 and the theme was Glamour. It was such an honour for me to be invited and I took part in three challenge categories in total. I was very delighted and surprised to have won the first challenge and I look forward to recreating the wedding cake for the bride's big day. The next episodes will be shown on Tuesday 18th May 2010 (theme – African Animals) and Tuesday 25th May 2010 (theme – Shoes).
